How Do We Do It
We have a simple philosophy which governs everything that we do:
Your garden is your space, it belongs to you and you will have to live with what we create therefore:
The Process. From Design To Reality
This aspect will vary with the length and complexity of the project. What follows is an overview of the process we follow for large projects.
The Initial Visit
We will visit you to discuss your basic ideas. We may ask you to fill out our questionnaire and look at some books of designs which will help us get a strong flavour of what you want.
Survey
A second visit will be arranged for us to come and measure the site and take photographs so that we can prepare a quote if necessary or an initial plan. It is usually at this stage that we ask customers to make a decision as to whether they wish to employ us or not.
Presentation Of Initial Plans
We will furnish you with a variety of sketch plans, these are usually not to scale and hand drawn. We may also bring some photographs with overlays showing the position of basic features drawn on which may help you visualise what they will look like in three dimensions (let’s face it, plans are hard to visualise!) From this meeting we like to think that we will be ready to move to a final plan.
Presentation Of And Agreement On Final Plans
We will bring a scale drawing of the garden and discuss the choice of materials, settle on a price if requested and set a start date.
Aftercare
When work is completed we will ask you to spend a few days living with the garden to ensure that you are satisfied with every aspect. If there is any element of the workmanship you are not happy with we will always do our best to make sensible amendments. We do , however retain the right to make extra charge for any significant alterations you wish us to make if they represent a departure from the original design.
A garden is a friend you can visit every day
